A leading engineering consultancy in Italy is seeking certified electrical inspectors with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Inspectors will perform ad hoc inspection activities for clients, preparing reports and ensuring compliance with international standards. Candidates should be freelance or part of an inspection agency. Proficiency in English and relevant certifications are required.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Electrical Inspector.
• Ability to invoice the service as a freelancer or agency.
• Experience conducting inspections on vendor premises.

Overview

RINA is looking for electrical certified inspectors based in Italy, in order to increase our local network and perform inspection activities for our estimated clients.

Requested certificates (also if expired)

• CompEx Units – Ex01, Ex02, Ex03, Ex04
• IECEX Units – EX01, EX002, Ex003, Ex004, EX007, EX008
• EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area) qualification for inspection in accordance with AS / NZS 3000 / 60079- Australian Standard - (IECEx wiring rules)
• Documented training certificates with ATEX or EEHA
• ATEX / EN Annex A training for installation, maintenance, inspection, and application engineering.
• EEHA – training course

Requested experience

• Experience as Electrical Inspector (min. 3 years);
• Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term / long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;

Other requirements

• Ability to prepare daily / weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards / codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency / society;
• The inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
