Vestas Mediterranean Grid Solutions in Rome is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support Projects Development in MED markets, with special focus on Italy and Spain. You will engage with system operators, gather grid data, and develop tools for electrical/grid support in collaboration with R&D.

This hybrid role involves coordinating with consultants, grid operators, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, cost-effective grid connections, while enabling value creation across development,

Competenze

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a similar position from RES project developers or TERNA grid connection team.
• Knowledge about grid connection applications and related requirements for RES power generation.
• Knowledge about HV and MV equipment.
• Proficient Italian and English language skills, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Grid Connection Application procedures scouting & interpretations and regular engagement with System Operators in MED market area (with focus on Italy & Spain).
• Collection of transmission grid atlas in MED market area (with focus on Italy & Spain), including intel gathering and market analysis.
• Development in cooperation with Vestas R&D and standardization of new tools for electrical/grid support to Projects Development.
• Technical meetings with consultants, contractors, grid operators & utilities, customers.
• Coordinating technical consultants to prepare preliminary electrical design and documentation.
