We are seeking an Apprentice in Electrification & Automation in Milan within the Smart Infrastructure BU. The program lasts 2 years, during which you will be trained as an Electrical Engineer Apprentice to join the Proposal Team for MV systems.

You will receive comprehensive, state-of-the-art training to develop your personal and professional skills, supported by a mentor to help you achieve your career goals.

The selection process includes a group assessment center at Siemens headquarters in Milan, where you'll introduce yourself and work in a team. Your main tasks as Electrical Engineer Apprentice in the Proposal Team for MV systems will include assisting in preparing technical bids for primary medium voltage switchgear and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to analyze project requirements and develop innovative solutions.

Some of your main activities will be:

• Technical Support: Assist in preparing technical bids, ensuring compliance with standards;
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate to understand and analyze project requirements and define suitable solutions;
• Documentation: Draft and update technical documentation, including electrical schematics, component specifications, and reports using Siemens tools;
• Research and Development: Participate in researching new technologies and innovative solutions to enhance bid competitiveness;
• Training and Growth: Develop skills through training programs and mentorship, learning by doing.

Required entry qualifications:

• You are under 30 years old, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract
• You are a recent graduate or have a technical academic background
• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Proficiency in English and Italian
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Passion for continuous growth
• Respect for diversity and willingness to share knowledge
• Eligibility to work in Italy
