Overview

This makes it possible to manufacture smaller, more durable, more environmentally-friendly and more powerful motors, transformers and generators. Tretau’s focus is on protective coatings for high-performance copper, aluminium, and steel wires with a low environmental impact.

The Person

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of electrical systems and devices, ensuring compliance with safety, performance, and efficiency standards. You will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing and installation processes of new equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and compliant solutions that meet internal production requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components based on project specifications.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using CAD and design software.
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical devices and systems.
  • Support and manage the manufacturing and assembly processes of new electrical equipment.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities on-site or within production environments.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and production teams to ensure integrated and optimized system designs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and industry standards (e.g., CEI, UL).
  • Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the design, manufacturing, and installation phases.
Key Features / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Technical Diploma (e.g., Industrial Technical Institute) may also be considered.
  • Proficiency in reading and developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit designs.
  • Experience in testing and validating electrical systems and components.
  • Solid understanding of electrical standards and safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform electrical calculations (load, current, voltage, power).
  • Familiarity with CEI standards; basic knowledge of UL standards is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
