Koenig Group in Verona is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical Engineering team for the design of automated industrial systems. After onboarding, you will design electrical schematics, define architectures, and prepare BOMs for projects.

You will ensure IEC/EN compliance, size components, support production and testing, and maintain documentation. English is required, with occasional international travel and growth in a global company.

Competenze

• Technical education in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics (ITS, diploma, Bachelor/Master).
• Experience using EPLAN Electric P8 for industrial electrical design.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical components, control panels, and relevant standards.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

We are an international leading company specialized in the design and manufacturing of industrial bakery machines and production lines, with locations across Europe and the United States.

To strengthen our Engineering Department at our Verona headquarters, we are looking for a motivated and innovation-oriented professional.

What you will do

After an onboarding and training period focused on our equipment and technologies, you will join the Electrical Engineering team, working on the electrical design of our automated industrial systems.

Reporting to the Head of Electrical Engineering, your responsibilities will include:

• designing and developing electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric P8;
• defining machine and plant electrical architectures;
• preparing bill of materials and technical project documentation;
• sizing and selecting electrical components;
• ensuring compliance with IEC/EN electrical standards and applicable directives;
• providing technical support to production, testing, and installation activities;
• updating and maintaining technical documentation;
• contributing to the continuous improvement of design and automation standards.

Who we are looking for

Requirements:

• technical education in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics (ITS, technical diploma, Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, or equivalent);
• experience using EPLAN Electric P8 for industrial electrical design;
• knowledge of industrial electrical components, control panels, and relevant standards;
• good command of English, both written and spoken;
• availability for occasional business travel, including international travel;
• problem-solving attitude, operational autonomy, and attention to detail.

Knowledge of automated systems and PLC/HMI systems will be considered a plus.
