Nidec Conversion is hiring a Electrical Designer E-mobility for Montebello Vicentino (VI).

SUMMARY OF ROLE

To design low voltage electrical systems/cabinets and e-Mobility systems in according to UL/IEC standards and to define the related equipment. Perform the design of the automation hardware systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND TASKS

• The candidate has to perform, the technical evaluation of the commercial offer and design of electrical equipment that is part of the project or of the product for E-Mobility business.
• He/She has to define the technical characteristics of the necessary components and equipment based on UL, IEC standards and company standards, and to perform electrical studies on existing or planned electricity grids.
• He/She has to define necessary automation hardware and to perform installation engineering development in its different levels of detail, monitoring and guaranteeing compliance with the deadlines, coordinating with the various bodies involved.

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

• Degree in electrical engineering or electric / electronic expert.
• A good knowledge of the English language is required, including written and spoken.
• Skilled in design, review, or modify wiring diagram of electrical cabinets and to define protections in according to UL/ IEC standards.
• Knowledge of IEC 61851 (EV charging standard)
• Skilled in Eplan 2024 software is a must.
• Write technical specifications and functional descriptions.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the design of electric cabinets is necessary.
• Flexibility, problem solving capacity and creativity are necessary.
• Open to work in a global team.
