A global technology company is seeking an Electrical Designer E-mobility in Montebello Vicentino, Italy. You will design low voltage electrical systems and e-mobility systems, ensuring compliance with UL/IEC standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering and 3-5 years of experience in designing electrical cabinets. Your role will involve technical evaluations, defining component specifications, and collaborating within a global team.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing electrical cabinets.
• Ability to write technical specifications and functional descriptions.
• Experience in designing, reviewing, or modifying wiring diagrams per UL / IEC standards.

Conoscenze

Nidec Conversion is hiring an Electrical Designer E-mobility for Montebello Vicentino (VI).

Summary of Role

Design low voltage electrical systems, cabinets, and e-Mobility systems in accordance with UL / IEC standards, and define the related equipment. Perform the design of automation hardware systems.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Tasks

• Perform technical evaluation of commercial offers and design electrical equipment for projects or products in the E-Mobility business.
• Define technical characteristics of components and equipment based on UL, IEC standards, and company standards; conduct electrical studies on existing or planned electricity grids.
• Define automation hardware requirements and develop installation engineering, ensuring compliance with deadlines and coordinating with involved teams.

Skills Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering or electronics.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in designing, reviewing, or modifying wiring diagrams of electrical cabinets and defining protections per UL / IEC standards.
• Knowledge of IEC 61851 (EV charging standard).
• Proficiency in Eplan 2024 software.
• Ability to write technical specifications and functional descriptions.
