The Green Recruitment Company is pleased to announce an opportunity for a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer. This contract role is pivotal in designing and implementing grid connection projects for renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities:

Design electrical systems and infrastructure to integrate renewable energy projects into existing power grids.

Collaborate with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Utilities to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and are executed efficiently.

Perform feasibility studies and system analysis, including load flow, stability, and short-circuit assessments.

Develop technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documents for grid connection projects.

Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred.

Proven track record in electrical design engineering, particularly with grid connections for renewable energy projects.

Experience working with IPPs and Utilities is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical infrastructure and renewable energies.

Excellent communication and project management skills.
