A leading engineering company in Monza is looking for a passionate Electrical Design Engineer to join their Automation Development team. The role focuses on designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, proficiency in electrical design tools like ePlan P8, and experience in project work. Fluent English is required. This position offers the chance to make a positive impact while growing within a dynamic team.

Competenze

• Proficiency in electrical design tools such as ePlan P8 or similar.
• Knowledge of standards: EN60204-1, UL508a, EN 60079-1.
• Experience with marine approvals, verification, and documentation.

Mansioni

• Review customer automation inputs and project specifications.
• Estimate budget hours based on scope.
• Perform LV electrical design calculations.

Conoscenze

About the job ?

Based inMonza, Italy, you will join ourAutomation Development team, responsible for designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions for Alfa Laval’s core products and customized projects. In this role, you will be involved in the electrical design and maintenance of automation systems, contributing to high-quality, safe, and efficient solutions.

Your main tasks will include:

• Reviewing customer automation inputs and project specifications
• Estimating budget hours based on scope
• Performing LV electrical design calculations
• Participating in peer reviews and quality processes
• Coordinating design activity planning
• Collaborating across sites within our Device Competence Space

What you know ?

• Degree inElectrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Proficiency inelectrical design toolssuch asePlan P8or similar
• Knowledge of standards:EN60204-1,UL508a,EN 60079-1
• Experience withmarine approvals, verification, and documentation
• Familiarity withprototype/MVP design approaches
