The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, 5 years of construction management experience, and fluent English and Italian. On-site presence in Milan is required.

Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Deputy Project Manager to join a New Data Centre project in the Milan area. The project duration is a minimum of 3 years. Location: Milan, Italy (on-site presence required). Reporting: Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities by supporting the Project Manager and monitoring progress, time, budget and quality with a focus on electrical plants.
• Control electrical technical documentation (including layouts, cost estimation, dimensional calculations, electrical schematics) in cooperation with project teams, designers, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor on-site construction, ensure compliance with deadlines, costs and quality, and administer project construction contracts, milestones and penalties.
• Follow up on all contracted deliverables and ensure quality assurance of work performed by contractors; enforce applicable technical standards; oversee scheduling, meetings (progress, safety, inspections) and document minutes.
• Study and identify solutions to technical and organizational problems that arise during execution.
• Prepare detailed project progress reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of construction management experience
• Fluent English and Italian are mandatory
• Proven construction management experience in the Data Center / Hospital / Logistic sector
• Driver license required
• Workplace will be in Milan with presence on project sites
