This role involves overseeing electrical commissioning activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have proven experience on complex projects. The position is available for a duration of 24 months with immediate start.

FRAG Srl are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Commissioning Coordinator for Oil & Gas project.

The candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in coordinating and overseeing electrical commissioning activities on complex projects.

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee all electrical aspects of the project, in commissioning and in onshore and offshore plants.

Main Responsibilities :

• Organize, coordinate, and control the execution of electrical works performed by subcontractors or in-house teams, ensuring seamless integration with other construction disciplines and engineering departments
• Oversee the availability of construction materials and equipment, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with project documentation and schedule
• Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures, actively contributing to safety walkdowns and incident investigations
• Verify that commissioning and start-up requirements are accounted for in engineering documents and participate in project planning and scheduling
• Review vendor schedules and assignments related to commissioning, start-up, and test run activities, ensuring timely follow-up and completion
• Issue regular progress reports on electrical commissioning activities within your area of responsibility
• Contribute to the planning and scheduling of job routines for the project's maintenance plan, assigning resources, materials, and logistics
• Oversee preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance activities
• Coordinate with vendors at the site within your operating area
• Approve work orders according to the Permit to Work procedure to enable scheduled works
• Ensure the correct implementation of electrical isolation control through the Switch Board locking and unlocking register
• Lead and train your team, identifying and addressing any training gaps
• Optimize the maintenance plan, spare parts, and manpower based on plant feedback

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in electrical commissioning and coordination on complex projects of Oil & Gas sector
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency knowledge of English language
