Intertek is seeking E&I Inspectors for a long-term project at a supplier site in the Tarragona area. The role involves field inspection of electrical and instrumentation work, review of documentation and certificates, and reporting quality concerns to the inspector lead.

Fluency in English is required, with Italian or Spanish considered a plus depending on location. The assignment is intended for ongoing support through Mech Completion activities within a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Familiar with wiring documentation and electrical specifications.
• Knowledge of P&ID, instrument lists,** and data sheets is required.
• Experience in field electrical/instrument installation inspection preferred.
• Understanding of ITP/QCP and quality processes is needed.
• Hazardous area requirements knowledge is desirable.
• Experience as E&I inspector on oil & gas projects is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Italian/Spanish a plus depending on location.

Mansioni

• Perform field E&I inspection during Mech Completion activities.
• Review certificates (OEM, ITRs) and escalate quality concerns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and report to the inspector lead.

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for an E&I Inspectors for a long-term project based at supplier in Tarragona area.

Hard skills:

• Good knowledge of following documents: Wiring, P&ID, Instrument List, Data Sheet, and Electrical Specification.
• Knowledge about quality process: inspection notification, punch list management as well as ITP/QCP understanding.
• Field electrical/instrument installation inspection experience (preferred experience on Module construction project).
• Applicable standard NFPE70/NEC knowledge.
• Knowledge of hazardous area requirements.
• Experience as Resident Final Customer E&I inspector (preferred resident experience versus on call inspections).
• Positive teamwork approach: the inspector will be part of a multidisciplinary team performing Mech Completion activities and sharing/escalating potential issues/quality concern to the inspector lead.
• Experience on certificate review (OEM certification, ITRs…).
• previous experience in the role and in relevant O&G projects.
• fluent in english (a good spanish or italian level (according to location) would be a nice to have).
• available to start in Apr/May 2025.
