A leading construction machinery company is seeking an engineer to design electric systems for road construction machinery. The role involves creating wiring diagrams, managing component layouts, and coordinating with suppliers. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in electric system design and understand CAN networks. English proficiency is required.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in the design of electric systems for industrial machines.
• Understanding of CAN networks.
• Good comprehension of spoken and written English (B2 or better).

Mansioni

• Design the wiring diagram following international standards.

As part of the Engineering Systems Team, the candidate will BE responsible for the design of the electric system and harness for road construction machinery (pavers). Main activities and responsabilities : - Designs the wiring diagram following international standards and internal guidelines. - Defines the lay-out of electric and electronic components. - Defines harness routing on 3d models and on prototypes. - Designs 2d drawings for electric harnesses. - Defines cost estimation of components and assemblies in cooperation with Industrialization / Supply Chain and external suppliers - Coordinate priorities, define interfaces. Ensure functionality of parts and components while cost targets. - Reports to Systems Team Chief Engineer in running FMEA or risk assessment of the systems. - Define and ensure requirements, properties and performance characteristics of systems and components. - Defines the validation / functional test plan (test conditions, parameters and expected results) of systems during bench test or jobsite test. - Clarify the applicability of current market products, if necessary initiate additional or new developments internally or externally. - Assess and evaluate risks as well as time and economic dimensions and propose the use of e.g. new developments. - Supports Quality Dept. during audits of suppliers - Carry out supplier evaluations from a technical point of view.

Must have : - Bachelor / Master Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering - 5+ years of experience in the design of electric systems for industrial machines. - Understanding of CAN networks. - Good comprehension of spoken and written English (i.e. B2 or better). Nice to have : - Working experience in structured companies.
