Job Summary
Seeking an enthusiastic, detail-focused EHS Specialist to join our team. This position offers practical experience in technical EHS practices and involves supporting the Technical Service department with regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the creation, execution, and upkeep of EHS initiatives and regulations relevant to technical services operations and tasks
- Take part in safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations
- Participate in incident investigations and help develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Support the preparation and delivery of EHS training programs for technical staff
- Collect and analyze EHS benchmarks
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting internal functions
- Coordinate inspections and scheduled meetings with departments to manage work permits (LOTO, confined spaces, work at height, and machinery safety) and workplace improvements
- Develop and maintain specific risk assessments related to technical aspects in accordance with Italian and European Regulations and other requirements
A Day in the Life
As an EHS Specialist, your duties will involve aiding in the creation, execution, and management of programs, policies, and procedures for Technical Service, ensuring alignment with EHS regulations and standards. The main focus of your role will be:
- Developing and coordinating training programs on safety roles and responsibilities, procedures, emergency response, and other relevant topics
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities
- Carrying out periodic facility walkthroughs to verify compliance with EHS regulations and pinpoint potential improvement areas
- Collaborating to maintain compliance with permits requirements and communicating with local authorities
- Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of EHS programs, finding opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes
How Will You Get Here?
Education
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related technical/scientific subject areas

- 2+ years of experience in the EHS field
