The EHS Manager is responsible for the prevention of accidents, the identification of hazards, and their elimination by managing the necessary actions to ensure a safe construction site and its surrounding area or working conditions.

- Provide all levels of management with the services and technical advice needed for proper administration of the safety program.
- Develop applicable safety standards and follow the site-specific EHS plan, along with company procedures and standards.
- Manage the implementation of the safety program and ensure contractor conformance.
- Establish and enforce requirements for personal protective equipment (e.g., helmet, clothing, safety shoes, safety notices, safety glasses, etc.).
- Notify of any unusual or special safety or health hazards on the job site, safety non-conformities, or other issues (e.g., Safety Behavior Observation, 2 Persons High Risk Inspection).
- Verify the technical and professional suitability of companies, consultants, partners, self-employed workers, and visitors. Collect and transmit documentation to the CSE, updating it regularly.
Show your expertise
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations of the country/area of activity.
- Ability to assume the role of EHS Manager and communicate effectively with personnel.
- Technical degree.
- Specific training for EHS managers or similar roles.
- Proficiency in English and Italian.
- License as per law 81/2008.
- Several years of direct experience, particularly on construction projects, in the role of EHS Site Manager.
