The EHS and Facility Coordinator is fully responsible for maintaining corporate and regulatory compliance in all matters related to EHS, and performing required audits, analysis, record-keeping and reporting for ITT Cannon Veam plant located in
Reporting to the Operations Director and functionally to the VC EHS Director, your main responsibilities will be :
- Management of the ITT Environment, Health, and Safety programs as required by ITT Corporate Policies and applicable Governmental regulations - audits, corrective actions, hazardous materials & wastes, risks record-keeping & reporting, site Preparedness and Emergency Response Team, EHS self-assessments / action items completions, Business Continuity Plan.
- Maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications
- Management of EHS training for new hires (internal and external) and plan renewals
- PPE management and distribution (Shoes, gloves, glasses )
- Manage Occupational Medicine’ activities (relations with the company doctor, scheduling visits and exams, drug tests, etc.)
- Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental and safety policies and procedure manuals.
- Coordination of investigation of accidents / incidents ensuring the identification of root cause and corrective and preventative actions. Inputs all near misses, first aid, and recordable injury metrics into ITT’s software system.
- Management of all activities related to Environment (atmospheric emissions, water discharges, waste, etc.) ensuring to be compliant with local laws
- Management of the facility (building permits, Fire Prevention Certificate, external staff management etc.) and production maintenance programs including maintaining machine uptime and preventive maintenance programs. Assigned budget control - obtaining quotes, creating purchase requests and managing contractors - and coordination of maintenance team (1 person).
Position Requirements :
Knowledge, skills and experience required :
- Degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as RSPP, in manufacturing international companies
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Knowledge of UNI EN ISO 14001 and 45001
- Good knowledge of English
