We are currently looking for a Junior Material Engineer to join our Engineering Centre in Fano (PU), supporting multidisciplinary teams involved in key international Oil & Gas projects.

The resource will work closely with senior engineers and gain experience in material selection, technical specifications, and vendor coordination throughout the engineering phases of industrial plant projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of technical documentation related to material selection, coatings, and painting, in coordination with other disciplines.
• Assist in developing piping material specifications and material requisitions based on project needs.
• Help verify the correct upload of piping classes into the 3D model environment, according to project procedures.
• Participate in internal technical reviews and assist in managing documentation and follow-up with suppliers.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to address material-related issues during the project lifecycle.
• Provide support during the bidding phase by collecting technical inputs and preparing draft documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
• Interest in industrial engineering and materials for piping systems.
• Basic understanding of technical documentation and piping components (from studies, internships, or early job experience).
• Ability to work in a team, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to grow in a structured and international environment.
