A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team is integral in coordinating all functional areas to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, and internal communications, along with performing day-to-day administrative duties.

What will I be doing?

As PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the outcomes of the marketing plan and activities aimed at increasing brand awareness, communicating promotions to target markets, and addressing hotel business needs. Your specific responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinating and assisting in delivering marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting as directed by the Line Manager.
  2. Supporting the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and maintaining the media library.
  3. Promoting hotel marketing activities to the media, covering food and beverage, rooms, and events.
  4. Supporting internal communication efforts, including regional updates, press releases, newsletters, and speeches for executives.
  5. Supporting marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, exhibitions, and inspections.
  6. Managing media relations, including social media tracking, press kit updates, news archiving, and coordinating interviews.
  7. Organizing media familiarization trips and managing hotel photography and filming activities.
  8. Monitoring and supporting social media activities and departmental initiatives.
  9. Ensuring all collateral aligns with brand standards and corporate guidelines.
  10. Identifying opportunities to grow loyalty marketing activities and executing content strategies online.
  11. Responding to customer postings and managing online reputation.
Managing Execution
  1. Supporting content management across hotel websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
  2. Developing reports on marketing activities and results.
  3. Maintaining and growing hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
  4. Staying informed on local news affecting the hotel and informing management promptly.
  5. Assisting in reporting and reviewing marketing initiatives and website content.
  6. Conducting competitive analysis and ensuring proper archiving of marketing materials.
  7. Supporting crisis communication and achieving performance goals.
Developing Talent

The focus is on self-development rather than team development.

Building Relationships
  1. Establishing effective communication with all hotel disciplines.
  2. Maintaining strong relationships with hotel, regional teams, and external agencies.
  3. Supporting collaboration within the marketing and PR team and across departments.
  4. Building relationships with media, community, government, and suppliers.
  5. Being an effective team player.

  • Experience in marketing and/or press relations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in native language preferred based on location.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, budget management, and project management.
