RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturer. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored energy storage solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of BESS technology, market trends, and customer needs, along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Key accountabilities include:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives in the energy storage market. Identify and pursue new opportunities, including utility-scale projects, C&I applications, and microgrids. Achieve sales targets through proactive engagement and pipeline management.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions. Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  3. Technical and Market Expertise: Keep updated on BESS technology, market trends, and regulations. Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions, and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
  4. Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare sales proposals, conduct ROI analyses, and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms. Work with legal, finance, and engineering teams for agreement finalization.
  5. Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Provide market feedback for product development and participate in cross-functional meetings.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor sales metrics, analyze market data, and maintain CRM records. Prepare reports for management and identify growth opportunities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or related field. 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems. Strong knowledge of BESS technology, including lithium-ion batteries, inverters, and power systems. Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts. Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.

SKILLS
  • Technical knowledge of grid-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage applications.
  • Experience with renewable energy project financing or sales.
  • Familiarity with energy policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
