A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team is integral in uniting various functions to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing day-to-day administrative duties.

What will I be doing?

As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the outcomes of the marketing activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to target markets, and address hotel business needs. Your tasks will include:

  1. Coordinating and assisting with the implementation of marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting to the Line Manager.
  2. Supporting the development and execution of promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and maintaining the media library.
  3. Promoting hotel marketing activities through media channels, including food & beverage, rooms, and events.
  4. Supporting internal communication efforts such as regional updates, press releases, newsletters, speeches, and media interviews preparation.
  5. Supporting PR activities including events, sponsorships, campaigns, exhibitions, and property inspections.
  6. Managing media relations, social media monitoring, press kit updates, news archive management, and coordinating media visits.
  7. Organizing media familiarization trips and managing media entertainment.
  8. Assisting with on-site photoshoots and hotel filming, ensuring all approvals are obtained.
  9. Monitoring and supporting social media activities, ensuring brand consistency and responding to customer posts.
Managing Execution
  1. Supporting content management across hotel websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
  2. Developing reports on activities, results, and next steps.
  3. Maintaining and growing hotel databases for marketing campaigns.
  4. Staying informed about local news affecting the hotel and informing management accordingly.
  5. Assisting with marketing and PR project reviews, content review, and competitive analysis.
  6. Ensuring marketing and PR archives are up-to-date and comprehensive.
  7. Supporting crisis communication and achieving performance goals set by the Line Manager.
Developing Talent
  • This role emphasizes self-development rather than team development.
Building Relationships
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication with hotel departments, external partners, media, community organizations, and government officials.
  • Working collaboratively within the team and supporting hotel departments on campaigns.
  • Supporting the development of external relationships with media and agencies.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in the native language, depending on location.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • College-level education or equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, budget management, and project management.
  • Commercial awareness and adaptable decision-making skills.
  • Previous experience in a communications role, with excellent written work.
