About the job

We are seeking a Conformity of Production Engineer to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting to the Head of QA Assembly. The role involves executing CoP tests in compliance with legal and internal standards across various markets.

You will:

• Collaborate with the CoP Project Leader and Homologation department to develop the annual control plan.
• Establish and maintain a detailed yearly control plan aligned with CoP requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle and component availability for CoP testing.
• Arrange shipments and manage test execution according to regulations.
• Oversee test results and address non-conformities with corrective actions.
• Prepare annual CoP reports and support external audits.
• Interface with VW Audi Group and external auditors regarding CoP issues.
• Manage test budgets, procurement, and bidding processes.
• Ensure homologation requirements are met during series production.
• Participate in meetings with internal departments, external auditors, and VW Audi Group structures.

About you

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automotive homologation, conformity testing, or related areas.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical reporting, and components.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
• Team-oriented and problem-solving skills.
