Job Description:
Objectives:
- Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new customers in Italy, collaborating closely with the company’s management.
- Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
- Deliver offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
- Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
- Define sales strategies for the company's products.
- Gather information for sale contracts.
- Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities, focusing on replacing Polyamide compounds.
- Negotiate sales terms with management approval.
- Manage customer rates and records.
- Issue material samples and test requests for laboratory testing.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships for long-term engagement.
- Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes.
- Manage customer and financial risks, delivery disruptions, and structural changes.
- Serve as an interface among customers, management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance teams.
- Support technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
- Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management meetings.
Your profile:
- Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
- Deep understanding of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
- Knowledge of the plastics industry, especially injection moulding, with successful account management experience.
- Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
- Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate customer issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external communication.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills with a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
