Job Description:

Objectives:

  • Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new customers in Italy, collaborating closely with the company’s management.
  • Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
  • Deliver offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
  • Report to the Sales Director Europe.

Main Activities:

  • Define sales strategies for the company's products.
  • Gather information for sale contracts.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, focusing on replacing Polyamide compounds.
  • Negotiate sales terms with management approval.
  • Manage customer rates and records.
  • Issue material samples and test requests for laboratory testing.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships for long-term engagement.
  • Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes.
  • Manage customer and financial risks, delivery disruptions, and structural changes.
  • Serve as an interface among customers, management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance teams.
  • Support technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
  • Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management meetings.

  • Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Deep understanding of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
  • Knowledge of the plastics industry, especially injection moulding, with successful account management experience.
  • Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
  • Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate customer issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external communication.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills with a proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
