The Buyer Trainee will support the sourcing of suitable packaging materials based on company demand, ensuring compliance with quality standards, timely delivery, optimal supply conditions, and adherence to the category budget.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Guarantee, supported by the line manager, the consistency, continuity, and sustainability of the supply chain for the assigned product categories.
• Support scouting, research, and selection of suitable suppliers, involving relevant internal departments (e.g., Quality Assurance, R&D, Operations).
• Negotiate prices, quantities, and commercial terms in accordance with company policies.
• Manage material non-conformances with suppliers alongside the internal Quality Assurance team.

The Profile Requires

Technical Skills

• Degree or Master’s degree in technical or economic fields.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Office package tools.

• Speed of execution.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and flexible.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Open-mindedness to handle various product categories with different sourcing methods.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
