Role Overview

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for preliminary analyses and design during the development of special projects. They actively participate in all study phases to define technical specifications and ensure compliance with current regulations, paying attention to performance, production, transportation, and on-site maintainability aspects.

In developing the special project, they will start from the configuration and bill of materials of the standard machine and, collaborating with the electrical designer on aspects of common responsibility (such as electrical panel placement and cable routing), will create 3D/2D models of components and assemblies, and create/modify BOMs.

During the execution of the special project, they will interface with Production/Quality departments (across various corporate factories), providing technical assistance and documentation instructions as needed. They will also liaise with the Service team to maximize customer satisfaction by identifying the best containment actions, and with the Pre-Sales team to conduct detailed analyses of special offer requests.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design of industrial machines.
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD software, preferably Solid Edge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and synthesis abilities.
• Teamwork predisposition.
• Knowledge of English will be considered a plus.
