Job description
This full-time position calls for a talented Project Manager to carry out a wide range of renewable projects, including revamping, repowering, and EPC of photovoltaic power plants.
This position involves support from the Milan (Italy) administrative office and requires staff at all organizational levels involved in this exciting and growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, track, and control the scope, program, budget, project team organization of revamping & repowering PV / Solar projects.
- Lead, manage, and coordinate the integrated workstreams of project execution, including construction management, technical management, procurement, project controls, and HSE.
- Provide clear and concise status reports on project planning, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Manage contracts, claims, and change orders with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.
- Ensure compliance with project documentation and operational requirements.
- Manage project compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate communication among project parties: internal & external stakeholders, subcontractors, etc.
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional teams and deliver multiple projects against agreed milestones.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; knowledge of Italian electrical norms is a significant advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in photovoltaics.
- Proficient in CAD for power plant design; knowledge of PVSyst is a plus.
- Knowledge of PV systems, KPIs, engineering economics, equipment, and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills in Italian and English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited directives.
- Proactive and flexible, with an interest in innovative solutions.
- Interest or experience in project management is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
