Job Description

Are you a versatile professional? Our Engineering Supervisor role offers the opportunity to lead and train engineering and landscape team members across technical and non-technical areas. You will manage various projects from inception to completion, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

• Troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems, including HVAC&R, laundry, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater systems, carpentry, tiling, plumbing, painting, and minor automotive repairs.
• Assume responsibilities of the Director of Engineering in their absence.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel fire, water, sewage, and irrigation systems.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Handle emergency or life-threatening situations effectively.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Document all essential information in engineering logs.
• Be available for emergency on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an Engineer or Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel or property management setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• Proficiency in operating all hotel systems and related equipment.
• Familiarity with vendors, and ability to identify replacement parts, materials, and tools.
• Decisiveness and proactive action-taking, as directed by the Director of Engineering.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions for mechanical assembly and safety warnings.
• Effective communication skills in English with guests, colleagues, and management.
