Job Description:

Exide Technologies is a leading provider of advanced energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial markets. It designs, manufactures, and markets current and next-generation battery technologies used in a wide range of applications, serving global markets with world-class battery technologies, technical expertise, and value-added services under many well-known brands.

For its Balkan countries market (specifically, the SEE Region: Adria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, and Malta), Exide is looking for a Regional Sales Manager South Eastern Europe. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with key clients, developing sales strategies, and expanding the customer base. The manager will utilize company resources to meet long-term client goals and attract new clients.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring sales results in revenue, profit, and cash flow (DSO and over-dues) within the designated area;
  2. Developing profitable sales with key clients for primary, secondary brands, and private labels;
  3. Contributing to organizational and strategic planning for market expansion;
  4. Analyzing market trends and competitor activity;
  5. Contributing to pricing strategies and customer satisfaction initiatives;
  6. Communicating effectively with sales teams, customer service, and management, and reporting on account performance.

Requirements include:

  1. An academic degree in Electrical, Electronic, Energetic Engineering, or Economics (or equivalent experience);
  2. At least 5 years of sales experience in a Tier-1 automotive aftermarket company;
  3. Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
  4. Fluent in English (additional regional languages are a plus);
  5. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer orientation skills; high accountability and self-organization.
