About the Job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer will contribute to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. This role involves technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit's capabilities. Experience in wallet creation or DeFi is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions using agile methodologies to build robust platforms.
• Ensure backend services are scalable, responsive, and real-time to support growth.
• Maintain high security standards to protect user assets and data.

Additional requirements include experience with crypto wallets, modular architecture, complex platform development, adaptability to new technologies, and security best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-availability systems.
• Knowledge of Go, Rust, C++, message queues like Redis, and caching.
• Mobile development experience with React Native, Flutter, or native platforms.
