BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Facility Manager & HSE Officer (ASPP) is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety compliance of company facilities. This role combines facility management with active support of the Health and Safety function, ensuring compliance with national health and safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08 in Italy) and promoting a safe and functional working environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and operation of buildings, systems, and infrastructure
• Manage external service providers (e.g., maintenance contractors, cleaning services, security, catering)
• Monitor and control facility-related costs; assist in budget planning and cost optimization
• Ensure workplace comfort, efficiency, and compliance with environmental and energy standards
• Implement initiatives to improve sustainability and energy efficiency
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08 in Italy)
• Coordinate inspections and technical checks
• Manage emergencies and evacuation planning
• Analyze and optimize workspace utilization
• Support office relocation or internal renovation projects
• Handle internal staff requests related to facilities
• Coordinate reception and front-desk services

BACKGROUND & PRINCIPAL SKILLS REQUIRED
