Your role

We are looking for a Process and CI Engineer who will organize and coordinate a structured system to ensure all processes are working within the process control plan to support yield, cost, quality and service targets and lead actions to assure production performances continuous improvement. You will cooperate in process improvement projects to achieve higher performance and process stability. You will also coordinate industrialization and pilot projects in Sedico for the group.

Main responsibilities:
  1. Identify areas of improvement for each process based on customer returns, production performance, or process capability, and update PCP accordingly.
  2. Centralize information about all improvement initiatives, provide inputs for prioritization, gather project data, build the prioritization matrix, formalize the roadmap, and monitor progress.
  3. Ensure that lean methods and problem-solving tools are known and systematically used in the lab: train, coach, and empower staff; define lean training documentation; and promote Kaizen implementation.
  4. Participate in problem resolution for customer complaints or production issues; propose short-term and long-term solutions linked with process improvement.
  5. Lead or evaluate pilot projects, ensuring improvement opportunities align with Group standards, and share initiatives with the CI community.
  6. Track and measure the impact of continuous improvement actions, formalize expected results, goals, KPIs, and measurement methods.
  7. Provide improvement opportunities for lab/country managers for upcoming budgets.
  8. Develop and promote a CI culture in the lab, encouraging continuous improvement and sharing best practices.
Main requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  2. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  3. Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  4. Technical knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
  5. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Knowledge of lean techniques, problem solving, production processes, project management, change management, risk management, and ergonomics.
  7. Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to optimize work processes.
