As a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA), you'll be essential in offering compassionate care and support to patients. University Hospitals Parma Medical Center is looking for dedicated and passionate team members to fill our night shift PCNA positions. Possible available units include: Critical Care Step Down, Emergency Department, ICU / ICU Step Down, Medical/Surgical, and Rehab.

Full-Time, NIGHT shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am)

The Patient Care Nursing Associate (PCNA) completes patient care activities as delegated by the RN. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ADLs, vital signs, I and Os, 12-lead ECG, bladder scan, hygiene, and venipuncture where applicable. Familiarity with using wheelchairs, EKG equipment, patient assistive devices, and patient care equipment specific to the assigned population is required. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with organizational skills and a professional demeanor when responding to patients and customers. Basic computer data entry skills are necessary. Experience in a large teaching hospital is preferred. One year of job stability is preferred.
