This person will be looking for new opportunities of growth among the Iberia and Italy markets ( Spain as an established Own Distribution market, Italy establishing and Portugal as 3rd party Model distribution).
It is an exciting opportunity to work with iconic brands such as Jack Daniel's and Gin Mare as well as Diplomatico rum, our Tequila and emerging brands portfolio.
Meaningful Work From Day One
The Sr Insight Analyst's scope is to positively influence company behavior through all elements of Marketing Mix by identifying insights from various data sources, building on data & ad hoc studies. This position is responsible for delivering analysis of multi-channels trends, developing tools & reports and close co-operation with the marketing, trade marketing & sales team. The Sr Insight analyst is an important stakeholder in the Italian and Spanish marketing team to build a reputation as an entrepreneurially spirited company, dedicated to achieving sustainable long-term growth that acts as a trusted partner.
This is an office/hybrid role (4 days a week in office).
What You Can Expect
Strategy and management
+ Provide actionable insights that enable marketing, trade marketing and sales teams to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and competitiveness of their brand building and sales activation campaigns.
+ Support the Insight Manager on the Quarterly/Monthly Business Review preparation.
+ Develop and deliver brand arguments with a fact basis that are superior to competitors in the market, resulting in increased acceptance of Brown-Forman recommendations.
+ Co-lead with marketing team the right design and development of ad hoc Consumer Research according to the business questions to be addressed.
+ Support Test & Learn approach across the business in cross functional projects.
Insight and trends
+ Create and develop regular insightful reports based on available market data (Category, Shopper and consumer).
+ Support the insight agenda creation for Iberia and Italy.
+ Identify opportunities and threats for B-F brands based on syndicated market data joining the dots from various sources of information.
+ Manage retail based data (e.g Nielsen, IWSR, Takeaway data, promotional evaluations, etc) to help ensure Brown-Forman's investment in data is maximized.
+ Co-lead and contributing to the Strategy and Ideation session for Iberia & Italy.
Time Allocation:
+ Italy 50%
+ Iberia 50% (45% Spain and 5% on Portugal)
What You Bring to the Table
+ 6+ years experience in marketing environment, of which at least 3 years experience in data analysis (research agency, data analytics, qualitative and quantitative) and working with research tools.
+ Excellent ability to communicate and influence.
+ Ability to work independently and use curiosity to kickstart and drive analysis.
+ Strong listening, presentation and storytelling skills.
+ Ability to translate data observations into storytelling and actionable insights.
+ Ability to simplify complex analytical reports outcome for non-analytical people to understand.
+ Strong business acumen and judgment along with strategic capabilities.
+ Fluent English and Italian in reading/writing as well as speaking/listening.
+ Spanish is highly recommended.
