Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities:
- Check and communicate oil levels to team members
- Ensure proper tire pressure
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as needed
- Complete vehicle inspections
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters
- Clean and lubricate fittings
- Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing customer perspective
Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform repair work efficiently according to dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles and diagnose using diagnostic tools
- Maintain and repair vehicle systems such as engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and A/C
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional services and estimates
- Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in an automotive dealership preferred
- Strong understanding of service processes
- Varied experience levels per position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Steady hand, good hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
