Job Title: QA/QC and NDT Coordinator

Reports To: Director Operations

Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

As a QA/QC & NDT Coordinator at ED Solving Srl, you will oversee quality assurance, quality control, and non-destructive testing (NDT) activities across our engineering and production processes. Your role is vital in ensuring our products and processes meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulations. You will develop inspection plans, manage documentation, coordinate NDT activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Autonomy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential, as you will maintain and enhance quality standards independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Quality Control:

• Define, implement, and improve QA/QC procedures, standards, and inspection protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and customer specifications.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), reports, certifications, and procedures.
• Perform internal audits and support external audits (e.g., ISO, customer audits).
• Investigate quality non-conformities, initiate corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and track their implementation.
• Train internal teams on quality-related topics and tools.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise NDT activities per project requirements.
• Review and validate NDT procedures and ensure proper qualification of personnel and equipment.
• Interpret NDT results and ensure proper documentation and communication of inspections.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and certification bodies as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams to embed quality throughout project phases.
• Report on quality performance, metrics, and issues to senior management.
• Serve as the point of contact for quality matters with customers and suppliers.

Flexibility and Self-Accountability:

• Own quality processes and manage workload proactively.
• Adapt to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of QA/QC experience in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing settings.
• Certification or experience in Non-Destructive Testing methods.
• Knowledge of international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, EN).
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical specs.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
