Position: Thermal Engineer in Milan

Responsibilities:

• Respond professionally to all service calls assigned during your shift.
• Perform tasks safely, adhering to company safety policies.
• Follow applicable codes, practices, and legislation relevant to your tasks.
• Help maintain a minimum 90% completion rate for planned maintenance.
• Assist in scheduling, planning, and closing work orders using established workflows.
• Update the scheduling team on schedule changes and job statuses.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly; debrief wireless field service jobs on-site when possible.
• Report sales or service leads to the appropriate department.
• Support company vision and management decisions.
• Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 processes, and all Vertiv procedures.
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Protect tools and company property, ensuring calibration as needed.
• Collaborate with the service team and support business needs.
• Maintain a positive influence among peers.
• Provide technical assistance on-site for complex problems.
• Assist department managers, sales staff, contracts engineers, and managers with daily operations.
• Attend customer meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with export, import, EU regulations, and supply chain security policies.

Qualifications for Success:

• Experience in a technical service environment with thermal equipment or similar; personality fit is crucial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, and time management skills; able to work under pressure.
