Job Description:

Bookmap is a cutting-edge data visualisation and trading software platform for stocks, futures, and cryptocurrency traders.

We are seeking a social media marketing specialist with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, capable of identifying audiences, collaborating with a marketing team, and implementing organic social media campaigns that generate demand for software products. Experience in the financial services or trading sector is a plus.

The successful candidate will develop a thorough understanding of our products, customers, market/industry trends, and competition. They will create and maintain a strong online presence for our growing company. As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, your role will be to implement a comprehensive online organic social media marketing strategy across all our accounts and web properties. This includes:

  1. Building and executing a holistic media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  2. Generating, editing, publishing, and sharing daily content (original text, images, videos, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections with traders, responding to questions, and managing our community.
  3. Crafting compelling, brand-aligned copy for social media posts that resonate with our audience and drive engagement.
  4. Optimizing company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content.
  5. Managing all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community, engaging with users by answering questions, directing them to appropriate departments, and providing a valuable experience.
  6. Creating and managing editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
  7. Continuously improving our social media presence by analyzing social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, creating weekly reports, and acting on this data to increase community size and engagement.
  8. Collaborating with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions, including live streaming and special events on our web properties and partner sites.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) to create visually appealing posts.
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Metricool) to streamline content management.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity.
  • Bonus: Experience in specific industries (e.g., tech, finance, e-commerce) or a background in content creation for digital-first brands.
