As a Sales Manager in a city hotel, your primary responsibility is to drive sales and revenue growth for the hotel. You will develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure all sales initiatives align with the hotel's overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create effective sales plans to increase revenue and market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve performance targets.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure coordinated efforts and successful outcomes.
  • Event Participation: Represent the hotel at industry events and exhibitions to promote the hotel and attract new business.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in sales and hospitality.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
