Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of this role is to proactively develop business strategies across regions to drive profitable growth, increase sales penetration, and enhance demand creation, resulting in global market share gains. Effective communication skills are essential for negotiating our offerings, positioning Future’s value, and demonstrating our full capabilities to clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement global strategies in collaboration with regional and branch teams to increase revenue and profit margins.
  2. Understand customer needs deeply and help formulate regional and branch strategies for growth. Build relationships with senior management through regular visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition by offering Value-Added Solutions and participating in initiatives like the Business Partner Programme to enhance service at all customer sites.
  4. Work with management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets, aiming to outperform industry and company growth projections.
  5. Drive supplier initiatives to meet corporate commitments at each customer site.
  6. Provide high-level customer service, responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven sales track record in electronic distribution, resilient and commercially savvy, with at least five years of experience.
  • Degree educated, preferably with a technical or business background.
  • Understanding of technical aspects, demonstrated by achieving design wins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
