Your role as a Sales Specialist - Direct Industrial will be within the Castrol organization, part of the Customers & Products entity, focusing on sales and relationship management with selected distributors and key account customers. You will be responsible for driving growth, measured through sales volume, turnover, and cash delivery, by implementing account strategies to meet business objectives.


Responsibilities:
  1. Accountability for financial performance of assigned key accounts.
  2. Develop and understand the overall key account contact map; build positive relationships with senior management through events, meetings, and workshops.
  3. Create and maintain a strong pipeline of accounts to achieve volume, new customer acquisition, and turnover targets, utilizing CRM tools to document activities.
  4. Collaborate with regional sales and other teams to deliver and adapt value propositions for sustainable growth.
  5. Set growth targets for each key account and develop strategic account plans.
  6. Design strategic initiatives for growth projects with clear targets.
  7. Coordinate with external and internal partners on progress, barriers, and resource needs.
  8. Stay informed on industry trends, customer insights, and technological developments; communicate findings effectively.
  9. Work closely with peers and global account managers to achieve KPIs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales/marketing, especially in industrial product sales.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Experience managing large accounts at national or transnational levels.
  • Skills in account strategy, business planning, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge of products and offerings.
