From locker design and mass production, software integrations, all the way to field services, Bloq.it partners with logistics companies to build successful Smart Locker networks. The services team at Bloqit is responsible for ground operations including logistics, warehousing, installation, maintenance and inventory management activities.

The Country Manager is responsible for the services business in their countries. The person will lead the successful execution of the operational and business plan. Foremost, the country manager is the point of contact for all service delivery goals including SLA compliance, escalations and special requests. He is also accountable for Healthy & Safety compliance as well as sound budget compliance and P&L performance.

This person must be based in Italy.

What will be your responsibilities

• Launch and scale our deployment and maintenance services in Italy;
• Create a local technical maintenance, installation, support and operational structure;
• Acquire operational resources and partners in the market;
• Align local processes and operational standards in accordance with the policies and standard operating procedures setup by the leadership;
• Managing relationships with clients, local suppliers, warehousing, inventory, logistics and other stakeholders on all operational matters;
• Establish relationships, negotiate and processes with local third-party partners;
• Be accountable for all aspects of the business for Italy - setup, health & safety compliance, staffing, legal, labour law and administrative compliance, operational setup and compliance, managing capacity, budgets and OKRs, service delivery, process alignment and sound execution of the business plan;
• Travel regularly and on short notice to warehouses, deployment sites, maintenance visits or Bloq.it offices.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Experience in technical hardware & maintenance industries;
• Experience with operational management;
• Excellent knowledge of financial performance management and productivity;
• Experience in managing people and creating new teams;
• Sound understanding of compliance structure in countries;
• Good soft skills and motivated to improve them continuously;
• Interest in entrepreneurship & previous work experience with startups is a plus;
• Fluent in English.
