Position Overview Join our flagship email team at team.blue! We are looking for a Senior Developer to enhance and extend the Roundcube Webmail, developing new features like AI-powered modules and plugins. This role is pivotal in shaping the group's flagship email platform and offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a highly experienced and motivated team, while enhancing and extending your expertise.

Role and Responsibilities
Enhance the Roundcube Webmail, developing new features and plugins
Work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the integration of AI modules and other innovative solutions

Ensure high-quality, maintainable codethrough testing, debugging, and problem-solving
Work in a cross-functional team, promoting effective team-work and strong collaboration
Adhere to best practices, coding standards, and security requirements

Experience building software collaboratively using pull
requests and code reviews.
Deep understanding of versioning control tools (git)
Proficiency in Italian and English.

Nice to have skills
Previous experience with Roundcube Webmail
Good knowledge of the most common email protocols (IMAP,POP3, SMTP) and prior experience working on an email platform.
Additional experience with Java is considered a plus
Knowledge of service deployments using Docker containers and K8s is a welcomed addition.
Good understanding of security and performance
considerations.
