About The Job
In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales turnover for EPR after-sales products (consumables, spares, accessories) and maintenance contracts within your assigned geographical area. You will ensure an excellent customer experience, create value, identify new business opportunities, and propose new maintenance activities. Your role involves liaising with local distributors, colleagues, and customers to deliver high-quality service that strengthens the Electrolux Professional Brand. You will report operationally to the After Sales Director of the Italian Sales organization.
Responsibilities
As Service Area Manager, your tasks include:
- Managing the external After-Sales Service network, including warranty assessment, goodwill management, and overseeing service reworks.
- Ensuring delivery of targeted service level KPIs.
- Growing profitable sales of the customer service portfolio through active customer engagement and upselling higher-value solutions.
- Collaborating with service station managers to identify sales opportunities and achieve targeted NPS scores.
- Supporting staff development, including training, recognition, and competence building.
- Promoting Essentia and its values internally and externally.
- Developing and refining processes and workflows.
- Coaching station managers to meet local needs and improve performance.
- Creating and executing action plans for underperformance issues.
- Expanding business agreements in collaboration with the country manager, sales team, and local distributors.
- Managing relationships with dealers and promoting the Electrolux Professional Customer Service brand.
- Analyzing the installed base to identify growth opportunities.
- Developing localized sales plans targeting high-potential areas.
- Demonstrating technical knowledge of products to support customers and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
- A degree or significant experience in relevant fields (preferably Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering).
- At least 5 years of experience managing a service organization.
- Experience in customer service sales and the hospitality business.
- Industry product knowledge, especially in construction, catering, or professional kitchens.
- Experience in developing market-based sales plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Fluency in Italian; good English skills are a plus.
- Professionalism, customer focus, proactivity, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple contacts and tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
