FREELANCER: Social Media & Content Specialist

We are looking for a creative Social Media and Content Specialist to work with us on a freelance basis. You will take the lead in managing our local social media in Italy, while supporting the team with further ad-hoc tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Swappie Italy’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. A strong collaboration with Country Manager will be required to ensure the integration of the social media strategy with overall marketing activities
• Create compelling content aligned with our brand identity
• Drive community management and engagement
• Collaborate on influencer marketing initiatives, including hiring influencers and managing their content creation for both organic and paid channels
• Editing of content: static & video using CapCut, Canva and Adobe Premiere
• Provide ad hoc support in organic content creation (CRM & blog)
• Provide ad hoc support in copy creation, knowledge of AI copywriting tools is a plus
• Making sure we use the right tone of voice in Italy in our website

Requirements:

Fluency in English and Italian native for effective communication with the Italian market and the global team

Experience in social media management (Instagram, Tik Tok)

Previous experience in influencer management is beneficial

Proficient in Canva and CapCut (or similar platform), photoshop and Adobe Premiere are a plus

Comfortable in front of a camera / shooting content

Demonstrated ability to strategize, plan, and create engaging content that resonates with the target audience

Familiarity with sustainability and environmental-conscious practices is desirable

Go-to attitude and organized way of working

Duration & Commitment: This is a freelance position, with an expected long-term commitment.

Location: This is a remote position. Being based in the Milan area will be advantageous to foster collaboration with your main point of contact.
