Job Advertisement: HSE Site Specialist - Monfalcone, UD

Adecco Consultants is seeking to hire for a leading engineering consultancy specializing in environmental and workplace safety. We are looking for a HSE Site Specialist to join a dynamic team in Monfalcone, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting internal staff involved in managing workplace safety and environmental issues. This includes overseeing office work and verifying the suitability of facilities, work environments, and the correct implementation of prevention and protection measures established by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Inspections: Conduct sample checks and verify health and safety conditions for assigned projects, including adherence to COVID-19 protocols, environmental management (waste, temporary deposits, etc.), site security, and compliance with the Safety and Coordination Plan (PSC) and Safety Operational Plans (POS) issued by executing companies. Prepare reports and technical summaries, supplemented with photographic evidence, to highlight deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
2. Technical Assistance and Consulting: Support health and safety management, environmental management, and internal site personnel. Act as a technical liaison between the client, site manager, safety coordinator, and contractors. Assist security personnel in controlling site access and monitor personnel presence. Participate in coordination and emergency drills, and assist during inspections by authorities such as ASL, ARPA, or other agencies. Provide guidance on waste storage, record-keeping, and waste transport documentation.

Requirements:

• Technical degree or high school diploma in health, safety, or environmental disciplines.
• Experience in health, safety, and environmental management, including roles such as Site Coordinator as per D.Lgs 81/08 (Title IV, temporary and mobile construction sites).

Offer:

Direct employment with the company under a fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent hiring. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Initial contract duration: 12 months.
