Italy Education Specialist

Job Purpose

Develop and deliver educational programs in Italy targeting future and practicing dental professionals to increase awareness, recommendation, prescription, and usage of our consumer and professional products. Represent the company through engaging talks and presentations, create, maintain, and update educational content for diverse audiences and environments, and support internal training of local teams. Secure branded ambassadorship and multiplication from mid-level dental and nondental influencers relevant to influencing dental professionals, to promote our products.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver educational content through engaging talks and presentations in face-to-face and digital formats to individuals, groups, and large audiences.
  • Represent the company at educational events across universities, congresses, and webinars.
  • Support the Scientific Affairs & Education Manager in content development for customer meetings, internal training, and digital content.
  • Assist in digitizing our offerings and enhance content segmentation and delivery to key targets in the digital space.
  • Maintain and update educational content based on local market needs, new product launches, and technical requirements.
  • Support training of local teams in the science of our products.
  • Identify and prioritize relevant influencer and speaker targets in alignment with Scientific Affairs and PBMs.
  • Engage with speakers and influencers to build long-term relationships and promote brand ambassadorship.
  • Leverage structured continuing dental education platforms for efficiency.
  • Organize educational events, both face-to-face and digital, supported by Scientific Affairs or OCCs, including local congresses and conventions.
  • Track activities and performance metrics in CRM and internal reports, providing feedback on market dynamics.
  • Consult regularly with Scientific Affairs on educational delivery.
  • Contribute to the digital student center within the divisional/hub framework.

Travel: 50-75% of the time

Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Education, or Dentistry; Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Italian professional/dentist business and academic networks.
  • Minimum 2 years of in-market/in-field experience with practicing professionals, academia, or in education/sales roles.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and engagement skills, with experience addressing large audiences.
  • Proficiency with interactive remote and digital communication tools.
  • Experience with dental or pharmaceutical companies or oral health products is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills across diverse audiences.
  • Digital savviness and eagerness to learn and implement new digital engagement tools.
  • Passion for health sciences, learning, and teaching.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
  • VISA sponsorship not available.
