JD Sports Fashion - Store Associate

JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981 with a single store in north-west England, is now one of the leading Multi-Channel retailers of sports and outdoor fashion in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores and offers a wide range of products from top brands, catering to various retail segments.

As a member of the JD team, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible service to customers every time they visit the store. You will assist customers to maximize store productivity, surpass sales targets, and utilize in-store devices.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Assisting customers throughout the sales process, from selection to purchase, ensuring targets are met;
2. Providing alternatives and maximizing sales through digital channels offered by the company, ensuring customer satisfaction;
3. Maintaining sales standards and ensuring the cleanliness of the store environment when necessary;
4. Monitoring stock levels on the sales floor and replenishing as needed to ensure a full range of sizes is available.

Preferred qualifications and skills:

• Experience in retail sector (preferred);
• Excellent communication and customer management skills;
• Ability to work well in a team with attention to detail.
