Job Description:

For a global leader in the packaging industry, we are looking for a Sales Manager Italy – Consumer Flexible Packaging.

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate new customer relationships within the FMCG sector by providing value-added solution sales to meet their specific needs.
  • Strengthen sales efforts and expand product portfolio within existing customer base to foster long-term partnerships and drive growth.
  • Drive the adoption of sustainable product offerings among existing customers.
  • Proactively build and enhance the project sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and maximize revenue potential.
  • Participate in training on products, innovations, and sales tools to stay informed and competitive.
  • Collaborate with European plants on quotations, monitor customer and project statuses, and contribute to plant strategies and market plans.
  • Maintain thorough communication with clients and projects via CRM, ensuring accurate updates and providing monthly reports and visit summaries.
  • Manage budgeting processes to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Represent the company at local exhibitions to showcase products, network, and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Educational background in Business or Chemicals.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development, specializing in flexible packaging for FMCG.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% within Italy.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized team player, comfortable working remotely, and adept at reporting.
