A PR & Marketing Executive plays a vital role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and activities. The team is instrumental in uniting various functions to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, and internal communications, along with daily administrative duties.

What will I be doing?

As a PR & Marketing Executive, your responsibilities include enhancing brand awareness, communicating promotions to target markets, and addressing hotel business needs through the following tasks:

  • Coordinate and assist in executing marketing and PR strategies, monitor campaign performance, and report as directed by the Line Manager.
  • Support the development of promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and media library management.
  • Promote hotel marketing activities to media outlets covering various departments.
  • Assist with internal communications, including updates, press releases, newsletters, and speeches.
  • Support marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, and property inspections.
  • Handle media relations tasks including social media tracking, press kit updates, news archiving, and media visits coordination.
  • Organize media familiarization trips and support hotel photoshoots and filming with proper administration.
  • Manage and support social media activities and ensure brand standards are maintained across all collateral.
  • Identify opportunities to grow loyalty marketing initiatives and optimize online presence.
  • Respond to customer postings and manage online reputation.
Managing Execution
  • Assist in content management across hotel websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
  • Create regular reports on marketing activities and results.
  • Maintain and expand hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
  • Monitor local news impacting hotel reputation and inform management promptly.
  • Support in developing reports on marketing and PR initiatives.
  • Review third-party website content for accuracy and standards.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to align marketing and PR efforts.
  • Ensure proper archiving of media content, press kits, and collateral.
  • Assist with project management within budget and resource constraints.
  • Support crisis communication efforts as needed.
  • Achieve performance goals and undertake tasks responsibly.
