POSITION SUMMARY
Prepare special meals or substitute items. Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator. Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing of food. Maintain food logs. Monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food. Communicate assistance needs during busy periods. Inform the Chef of excess food items for daily specials. Notify Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items. Ensure food quality standards are met. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, presentation standards, and checklists. Prepare cold foods.
