A unique opportunity to join our Sales Team as an Account Director.

We are looking for a talented sales enthusiast with a strong background in MICE and Corporate markets to further develop our key feeder markets for Armani Hotel Milano.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Increase client base across all segments, mainly in Italy, UK, and key European countries, through consistent sales and marketing activities to generate and boost revenues for the hotel.
  2. Collaborate with relevant departments regarding group’s special arrangements.
  3. Qualify group business to generate rooms and catering revenue, impacting RevPar performance.
  4. Work with the DOSM to develop a corporate rate strategy for local accounts and RFPs for volume accounts.
  5. Create and execute account plans for assigned markets to ensure maximum revenue and achievement of budgeted targets.
  6. Achieve monthly targets set by the DOSM, based on the Monthly Production Report and other specific objectives aligned with the hotel’s overall budget.
  7. Focus on conversion rates to ensure hotel revenue objectives are met.
  8. Utilize all automated sales and reservations systems (like Opera) effectively for group business.
  9. Participate in sales and revenue strategy meetings as required.
  10. Maintain effective communication with potential and existing clients.
  11. Develop and implement quarterly and annual action plans.
  12. Contribute to the annual Marketing Plan, including proposing and managing territory sales expenses and travel budgets.
  13. Perform duties as Manager on Duty when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :

  1. Legal authorization to work in Europe is required.
  2. Minimum of three to five years experience in a Sales Manager role or Sales Cluster experience.
  3. Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and creative sales skills.
  4. Proficiency in English (mandatory), Italian preferred.
  5. Proficient in computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera.

This position is based at the Armani Hotel Milano with a fixed-term contract. The candidate must have a flexible schedule and possess the legal right to work in Italy. Fluency in Italian and English is required.
